Marmon Utility LLC in Seymour, CT, is seeking a skilled Large Machine Operator to join the Plastics department. You will plan, set up and operate large machines to complete final processes on cables, using a variety of equipment and following order-specific instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation and work orders.
• Set up, monitor and operate large machines in plastics manufacturing.
• Move, load and unload reels; guide and thread cable into machinery.
• Splice wires, cap and tie ends, wrap product and monitor quality.
• Operate forklift and assist in team meetings.
