Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or production, preferably cable or wire manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of pay-off, take-up, and extrusion used in cable production.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintenance: Prepare and set up extruder and equipment for cable production.
• Material handling: Load/unload compound boxes and ensure correct material strips feed.
• Process monitoring: Observe specs and tolerances, adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Quality control: Inspect cables for defects and coordinate with QA teams.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents.
• Record keeping: Maintain production data and maintenance records; submit reports.
• Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and fix production issues to minimize downtime.
