Job summary

Franciscan Health Crown Point is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist for the midnights shift to join our certified laboratory team. You will perform specimen processing and testing across waived, moderate and high complexity assays as authorized, and report results according to established procedures.

In addition, you will participate fully in quality control procedures, comply with QA/QC standards, and assist with specimen collection as needed.

Qualifications

• MLT with an associate degree in lab science or MLT program.
• MT with a bachelor in MLS/MT from accredited college.
• Or a bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
• At least 1 year of full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and perform tests across waived, moderate and high complexity.
• Report results according to established procedures and participate in QA/QC.
• Assist with specimen collection as needed.
