Job summary
Incredible Health in Elizabeth, NJ seeks a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) to join our hospital team. You will assess and plan care for laboring mothers, monitor vitals and fetal heart rates, and coordinate with obstetricians and the care team.
Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, 1+ year L&D experience preferred, BLS and ACLS certification, strong communication, and proficiency with EHR systems. Competitive benefits provided.
Qualifications
- ADN or higher from an accredited program.
- Active RN license.
- 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, collaborating with obstetricians and the care team.
- Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, intervening as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments, including epidurals and IV fluids.
- Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families throughout labor.
- Document and report status and outcomes per guidelines.
