Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for Women’s Services – RN Labor and Delivery. Full-time nights (7pm-7am) with a 3 x 12s shift pattern.

Maternal Level 2 unit with 14 ante/post-partum rooms, 3 triage rooms, 10 labor rooms. As an RN, you will assess patients, develop care plans, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and staff while adhering to Texas Nursing Practice Act and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Perform patient assessment and create care plans.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs.
