Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Women’s Services – RN Labor & Delivery. The role focuses on patient assessment, care planning, and patient education in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.

The position is full-time night shift (7pm–7am) in a Maternal Level 2 unit with 14 ante/post-partum rooms and 10 labor rooms, requiring teamwork and adherence to nursing standards for safe care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsabilités

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans; adjust plans to reach outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members about healthcare needs.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly with colleagues and staff.
• Maintain safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
• Contribute to peers' development and show community service commitment.
