Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock is seeking a Registered Nurse for Women’s Services – RN Labor and Delivery. You will oversee patient care, assess needs, create individualized care plans, and delegate tasks based on team competencies.

The role requires adherence to the Texas Nursing Practice Act and strong collaboration with physicians and staff. The position is full-time with night shifts (7pm–7am), offering benefits, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• RN license required or able to obtain licensure in Texas.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of starting.
• Graduation from an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Specialized field of study in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and outcomes.
• Delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competency.
• Coordinate with colleagues to implement safe, effective care plans.
• Document learning needs and track progress in EMR.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure continuity and safety.
