Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• 0-2 years in clinical nursing or student rotations in acute care required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per the nursing process.
• Document thorough patient assessments and report changes in condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities as needed.
• Maintain infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Document patient care promptly in the medical record.
