Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for full-time night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. The role supports a Level IV facility and high-delivery volume in a collaborative Labor & Delivery department.

Candidates should have an associate degree or nursing diploma, with BSN preferred, and meet RN licensure and certification requirements (BCLS/NRP/NRPA/ACLS). Strong L&D experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma required
• BSN preferred
• 1 year RN experience in acute care setting or completion of an RN residency program required
• At least 1 year RN L&D experience strongly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
• BCLS, NRP, NRPA, ACLS required within specified timelines
• IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within 90 days if not currently certified

• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control into care
