Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to deliver high-quality maternal-child care in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role requires strong communication, clinical excellence in L&D, and the ability to educate patients and families while coordinating care from admission to discharge. Night shift, full-time schedule. A BSN or ADN with active RN license and BLS/ACLS is required or obtained within first year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• 1 year of current acute care RN experience; 2 years L&D experience preferred.
• Active RN license; BLS required; ACLS required (within hire or 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families.
