Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry RN for the Labor and Delivery unit. The assignment spans 12 weeks with a night shift and a pay rate of $60 per hour (flat). The role requires acute clinical skills and adherence to perinatal care standards.

The RN will provide direct patient care, supervise and educate patients and families, and work within the Birthplace team to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days and current.
• ACLS certification within 90 days and current.
• NRP certification within 90 days and current.
• Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days and current.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred.
• STABLE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in the Birthplace.
• Educate and guide patient and family; coordinate with nursing staff.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and ensure newborn/mother safety.
• Utilize chain of command to maintain quality care during antepartum and postpartum periods.
