MaineHealth is seeking a Nursing Unit Secretary to support our Labor & Delivery team at Maine Medical Center. You will welcome patients and families, coordinate communication, and assist with clerical tasks to help the unit run smoothly during night shifts. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: BLS certification preferred.
• Experience: One year hospital or health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and support daily unit operations.
• Coordinate communication between patients, families and the care team.
• Assist nursing staff with clerical tasks to keep the unit running smoothly.
• Support with unit logistics and documentation as needed.
