Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery (4E LAN) on the LAN 4 E Family Birth Place unit in Michigan. The position is on nights (7p–7a) with a 48 bi-weekly schedule and part-time status.

Required are nursing licensure in Michigan and ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as noted; one year of nursing experience is preferred. McLaren Health Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS within six months of hire for RNs in Critical Care, Emergency, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, ICU and Step-Down; NRP for Labor and Delivery; PALS within one year for Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each assigned patient, documents and evaluates their response to plan of care, and takes corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care/standard of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
