Job summary

McLaren Health Care’s Emergency Services department seeks a part-time nurse to provide skilled patient care during the night shift. The role requires applying clinical judgment to assess and respond to patient needs, and to coordinate with the care team under the CPM framework.

You will work 7:00pm–7:30am, with 48 hours per pay period. The position requires Michigan nursing licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to work with diverse age groups.

Qualifications

• License to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Competent within 6 months of hire with all age groups within defined patient population.
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care.
• Pursue life-long learning through certification, higher education, and literature review.
• Demonstrate leadership through sharing knowledge and acting as a clinical resource.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues using SBAR and interdisciplinary channels.
• Manage time efficiently and support team performance as needed.
• Perform other duties aligned with unit objectives as directed.

Education

RN license in Michigan

Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
