Job summary

Waverly Health Center is seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse for the 1st/2nd shift on a part-time basis (0.30 FTE). The RN will assess, delegate, and coordinate nursing care, communicate changes in patient condition, and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care per established standards.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care with a patient-centered approach, and collaborating with the healthcare team to maintain a safe healing environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in Iowa.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
• Surgical Assistant role requires CNOR or RNFA certification when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, delegate, and coordinate nursing care per patient needs.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to providers and team.
• Lead and participate in the nursing process and care planning.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care with professional judgment.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure safe environment.
• Document care accurately at point of care.
• Demonstrate leadership during assigned shift and support team.
