Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a night-shift, full-time Labor and Delivery Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Amarillo, TX. The CST supports surgical teams during obstetric procedures and maintains sterile technique.

Candidates must hold NBSTSA CST or NCCT certification, have BLS within 14 days, and complete a CAAHEP-accredited program. Prior experience is preferred in a fast-paced perinatal setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBSTSA CST certification or NCCT certification if practicing prior to 2009.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited or other nationally accredited educational program for surgical technologists.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures under supervision.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure operating room safety and equipment functionality.
• Support quality patient care during operative procedures and monitor patient status.
