Job summary

Iconex is seeking a hands-on Production Operator for a 10pm–6am shift (Sun-Thu) in New York. You’ll set up and maintain label manufacturing equipment, monitor quality, apply adhesives and inks, and perform routine maintenance.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, log production data, and follow 6S safety standards while contributing to training and SOP development. High school diploma or GED preferred; a technical degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in printing or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and gauges.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, optimize, and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor product quality and ensure specifications.
• Prepare and apply adhesives, inks, releases, and other materials.
• Complete minor repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
• Ensure correct raw materials are used during production.
• Log production data accurately using computer systems and logs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 6S standards.
• Support material handling and packing operations.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Participate in safety training and proactive hazard identification.
• Contribute to training efforts and help develop SOPs, work instructions, and other documentation.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
