Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a skilled laboratory professional for night shift coverage at Cherry Hill Hospital Stat Lab. You will determine specimen acceptability, perform routine and complex testing, monitor instrumentation, and ensure accurate results that support patient care.

Adherence to SOPs and quality controls is essential. The role requires an Associate degree in Life Science or Medical Technology and certification (ASCP or AMT), with overtime flexibility and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
ASCP or AMT certification required
Ability to pass a color blindness test
Overtime flexibility

Responsibilities

Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures according to SOPs.
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
Report accurate test results to support quality patient care.
Perform preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
Maintain a safe work environment and proper PPE usage.
