Job summary

St Paul Beverage Solution has an immediate opening for a laboratory technician responsible for microbiological and chemical testing of finished products, raw materials and associated items, while complying with food safety and SQF requirements. You will maintain SOPs and seek process improvements in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, coursework in Food Science/Chemistry/Biology, and 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or work experience equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or some coursework in Food Science/Chemistry/Biology preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological and chemical testing of finished products and raw materials.
• Adhere to GLP, SOP, MSDS, GMP and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain SOPs and quality system documents.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Operate laboratory instruments and record results accurately.
