Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Support Services Team Leader for our Holyoke, MA facility to oversee daily department operations during the 8pm–4:30am shift. You will help lead a team, ensure accuracy of specimen preparation, and drive process improvements to meet turnaround times.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a lab/healthcare environment, and a willingness to supervise and coordinate colleagues while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• 6 months or more supervising or leading a team (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the Department Name department.
• Help lead the team in their daily processes and procedures.
• Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas.
• Encourage process improvements and best practices.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Resolve any production errors as requested by management.
• Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary.
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Responsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
