Job summary

Qualifications

• Four year high school graduate or GED equivalent with phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Training and ACT 169 clearance.
• Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs and collection of specimens within the employee’s scope of training including legal specimen collection.
• Prepare all specimen types: accessioning, centrifuging, aliquoting and packing for courier pickup.
• Assist with patient registration, laboratory report distribution and other clerical duties.
• Mans and troubleshoots the pre-analytical automation as assigned.
• Provide training and/or orientation for internal employees and external customers.
• Promotes and maintains a professional manner in all situations.
