• Open/close and manifest shipments and properly document any shipping or other violations.
• Enter patient demographics and process specimens/orders using the appropriate applications.
• Order all tests indicated on the requisition.
• Process all manual and electronically transmitted tests on submitted paperwork.
• Properly comments any additional information on the requisition/packing list.
• Properly handles specimens and paperwork to ensure correct labeling and tracking.
• Proficient in ARUP Applications: Accessioning, Checkout, Inquiry, and Shipment Tracking.
