Job summary

Labcorp in Dublin, OH is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team on the 3rd shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM with rotating Sunday/Monday/Holidays.

You will receive and sort clinical lab specimens, prepare them for testing, perform data entry, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preference for specimen processing or laboratory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience preferred.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
