Job summary

Labcorp in Dublin, OH is hiring a Lab Assistant for the 3rd shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30pm–8:00am) to receive and sort specimens, prepare samples for testing, and perform data entry and routine maintenance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; preferred candidates have a few months of specimen processing or laboratory experience. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $22.00 per hour, plus shift differential, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
