Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant in Dublin, OH to join a clinical diagnostics team. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3pm–11:30pm. Responsibilities include receiving and preparing specimens, data entry, and ensuring equipment readiness.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. Preferred candidates have 3+ months in specimen processing or lab settings and strong attention to detail with good communication skills. Benefits are provided with standard eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: some specimen processing experience.
• Preferred: basic lab or medical environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure lab equipment is functioning and perform minor maintenance.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies and maintain area.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete logs and administrative duties as requested.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality.
