Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami is hiring a RN LABOR & DELIVERY NIGHTS to join one of the region's busiest maternity programs. You'll deliver evidence-based nursing care across labor, delivery, and postpartum, collaborating with physicians, NICU teams, and nurses to support high-risk pregnancies and cesarean deliveries.

The role requires Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and L&D experience; certifications in fetal monitoring.

Qualifications

Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications with start-date timelines.
Intermediate/Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within required timeframe.
At least one year of Labor & Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum stabilization.
Manage high-risk obstetric patients and rapidly changing clinical situations.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatology providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in emergency obstetrical interventions and surgical deliveries.
Support breastfeeding, patient education, and family-centered care.
Deliver compassionate care while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
