Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami is seeking a RN Nursery Nights to deliver postpartum and newborn care through the nursing process, collaborating with managers and the nursing team to elevate patient outcomes. The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, supervise ancillary staff, and participate in teaching, discharge planning and handoffs.

Requirements: RN license, Associate Degree, 1 year acute care experience; ACLS/BCLS within 90 days; neonatal resuscitation training

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS/BCLS certifications within specified timelines.
• 1 year of RN experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver postpartum and newborn nursery care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise ancillary staff and coordinate teaching and handoffs.
• Participate in discharge planning and hospital initiatives.
