Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ is seeking a night-shift Labor & Delivery RN to join our full-time team. You will deliver direct patient care, monitor labor progress, and collaborate with obstetricians, neonatology staff, and support services to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required: New Jersey RN license (or multi-state), ACLS, BLS, NRP, and 1–2 years of L&D experience; completion of AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring course within 6 months.

Qualifications

• RN license with NJ Board of Nursing or Multistate License
• Graduate of NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• NRP certification required
• 1–2 years L&D nursing experience required
• AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring course within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a specific labor & delivery patient population
• Direct and oversee care by delegating, validating, evaluating, and coordinating with care team
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services
• Report to the Nurse Manager
