Job summary

CareerNation in Frisco, TX is seeking experienced Labor & Delivery registered nurses for several contract openings at a major medical center. Choose from 1 × 12-hour shifts/week, 2 × 12-hour shifts/week, or longer 8- and 12-week options to fit your schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D RN to supplement an existing schedule without committing to a traditional travel assignment. The role requires TX RN license and BLS, with strong fetal monitoring skills and C-section

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Strong fetal monitoring skills.
• Comfortable working independently during night shifts.
• C-section experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery and recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status.
• Perform fetal monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Assist with deliveries and C-sections.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia and multidisciplinary team.
