Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates delivery of care in collaboration with physicians and other providers.
• Utilizes the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) to apply nursing knowledge.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care, care plans and observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Recognizes and reports significant patient findings and inconsistencies in orders/treatment regimes.
• Provides direction to LPNs and CNAs and participates in new staff orientation.
• Performs rounds to ensure continuity of care.
• Follows unit-specific policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
