Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery RN for the night shift (7p-7a). The role focuses on neonatal assessment, breastfeeding support, obstetric care, and rapid response in emergency situations within a busy maternal-child unit.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited school of nursing, holds a Florida RN license with L&D focus, and will obtain BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN training within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida RN license (L&D)
• BLS and ACLS required; NRP and AWHONN course within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist with breastfeeding
• Perform neonatal assessments at delivery
• Circulate in operating room for obstetric procedures
• Manage labor patients and postpartum care
• Administer medications and IV therapy per policy
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to unit policies
• Maintain competency in FPQC goals on the Maternal Child Unit
• Support nurse staffing and patient transfer procedures
