Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Kitchen Hood Cleaning Technician in Madison, TN for full-time, overnight shifts (10pm–6am). The role performs complete kitchen exhaust cleaning, ensuring NFPA 96 compliance and accurate reporting while maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of KEC experience, plus a clean driving record. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a company vehicle where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months and above of experience as a KEC apprentice or KEC technician.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on jobs.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete KEC services including setup and teardown of containment.
• Pre-scrape grease buildup and power wash hoods, ducts, filters, and exhaust fans to NFPA 96 standards.
• Inspect and maintain service vehicles and equipment; initiate repair requests as needed.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Follow all company safety procedures including PPE and driver safety.
