Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician to independently perform the full KEC service lifecycle on commercial kitchen exhaust systems. You will setup containment, pre-scrape, power wash, and finalize cleanup while meeting NFPA 96 standards.

The role requires independent work, a clean driving record, and your driver's license if driving is involved. Excellent benefits and opportunities for training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3+ years in commercial cleaning as a KEC apprentice or technician preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license if driving role.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete KEC services including setup/teardown of containment.
• Pre-scrape grease buildup and power wash to NFPA 96 standards.
• Conduct final cleanup and restore kitchen environments to operational condition.
• Protect customer facilities and surrounding areas during service activities.
• Document deficiencies, hazards, or non-compliant conditions.
