Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking Journeyman Plumbers to join our tenant improvement team in California.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial new construction or TI projects and is available to work the night shift as the regular schedule. You will perform pipe installation, fixtures, grease traps, and utility work in a fast-paced retail environment, reading blueprints and adhering to OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Valid driver's license with insurable record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Verbal and written English literacy for communications.

Responsibilities

• Demo and install plumbing pipes such as PVC, ABS, Cast Iron (no hub) and copper.
• Mount fixtures and trim per manufacturers' specs and codes.
• Install grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems and utilities in a retail setting.
• Prepare jobsites: excavations, braces, scaffolding, cleanup of debris.
• Read blueprints and isometrics; follow OSHA guidelines.
