Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Janitorial Crew Leader to supervise janitors and ensure cleaning tasks meet contract requirements. The role supports the organization’s mission by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, an Associate’s degree, and 2+ years of related experience. The shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM–4:30 AM at Fort Sam in San Antonio, TX. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree required.
• 1 year janitorial experience and experience as a team lead/supervisor.
• 2+ years of related experience or equivalent education/ training.
• Must meet physical requirements and have a valid driver’s license if driving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise janitors and ensure cleaning tasks meet contract requirements.
• Assign work schedules.
• Plan and communicate areas to be cleaned each shift.
• Order supplies and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Train on cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and safety rules.
• Inspect results of work.
• Assist manager with team member performance.
• Attend monthly unit meetings.
• Report problems to Project Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service.
