Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Janitor I for Fort Sam in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with an hourly rate of $17.75. You will perform cleaning, dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming to meet contract requirements and keep facilities spotless.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze situations and propose alternatives for conflict resolution.
• Basic cleaning methods, chemical usage and cleaning equipment.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance may be required if driving for company business.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and vacuum floors and carpets to remove litter and debris.
• Dust and damp mop floors for a uniform appearance.
• Clean glass doors and windows; disinfect surfaces and restrooms.
• Refill paper products and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
