Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Janitorial Crew Leader to supervise cleaning crews and ensure tasks meet contract requirements. The role supports the mission to change lives through the power of work and involves training, scheduling, and quality oversight.

The position requires U.S. citizenship or eligibility for security clearance, a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of janitorial experience with supervisory duties. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of janitorial experience and experience as a team lead/supervisor.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree is a plus.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and have valid driver's license (if driving for work).

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks alongside the assigned crew and monitor work quality.
• Plan and communicate areas to be cleaned each shift.
• Order supplies and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Train team on cleaning methods, equipment usage, and safety rules.
• Inspect results of work and provide input for performance reviews.
• Attend monthly unit meetings and assist the manager as needed.
