Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Production Technician in Indianapolis, IN to support daily production of isotope products for radioligand therapies. You will operate equipment, follow batch records, SOPs, and regulatory requirements in a controlled manufacturing environment.

The role is a 3rd shift (10 pm–6 am) with strong emphasis on radiation safety, ALARA, and cross-functional collaboration with production leads and managers to keep operations safe, compliant, and on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in GMP or aseptic manufacturing.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience; low-burden experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations in regulated environments.
• Ability to work with radioactive materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities for isotope products per batch records and procedures.
• Operate and maintain Grade C isolators; support safe production.
• Follow radiation safety requirements including dosimetry and PPE.
• Perform contamination control, personnel and material monitoring per site procedures.
• Support production readiness via equipment cleaning and preparation of manufacturing areas.
• Conduct environmental monitoring to maintain readiness and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain materials per batch procedures.
• Participate in qualification and validation activities for compliance.
• Complete production documents including batch records and training records.
• Support safety, quality, and GMP compliance within the team.
