Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Production Technician to support isotope product manufacturing in a controlled environment. You will work with batch records and SOPs, operating Grade C isolators and maintaining safety and compliance throughout production.

Role requires 2+ years in GMP/aseptic pharma settings, ability to handle radioactive materials safely, and strict adherence to procedures. Onsite shift-based work in Indianapolis, with comprehensive US benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in GMP or aseptic manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience; low-bioburden preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work safely with radioactive materials in a controlled setting.
• Experience following SOPs, batch records, and manufacturing documentation.
• Wear cleanroom garments and required respiratory protection.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, safety, quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities for isotope products per batch records and procedures.
• Operate and maintain Grade C isolators supporting safe production.
• Follow radiation safety requirements including dosimetry and ALARA.
• Perform contamination control, personnel and material monitoring.
• Support production readiness through cleaning, sterilization and prep.
• Conduct environmental monitoring to maintain readiness and compliance.
• Prepare, verify and maintain materials per batch procedures.
• Participate in qualification and validation activities.
• Complete production documentation including batch records and shipping docs.
• Support safety culture and GMP compliance within the team.
