Job summary

ID Logistics US in Joliet is seeking an inventory control specialist to maintain accurate stock levels and records. You will verify orders, perform daily cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring compliance with safety and GMP guidelines.

The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to read procedures. Work schedule Sun–Thu 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with potential overtime; pay $22.00/hr plus a $2.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory management procedures.
• Familiarity with warehousing terminology and systems.
• Proficient with Excel and spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Accurate and detail-oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and root causes.
• Process returns and classify as first quality or damaged.
• Maintain proper written documentation.
• Assist in physical inventories and sampling.
• Locate products in system and correct discrepancies.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to GMP and safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
