Tate Inc. in Glasgow, KY is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist responsible for receiving materials and accurately entering data into the inventory system while maintaining records of inbound and outbound items.

Discrepancies are identified and documented, enabling accurate cycle counts and inventory reconciliation. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, operate Forklift/Combi-Lift, and collaborate with Purchasing and Cost Accounting.

Competenze

• 2+ years warehouse, inventory, or shipping experience required.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must have current and valid Driver’s License.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with MAPICS or similar manufacturing control systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklift/combi-lift.

Mansioni

• Receives materials and enters data into the inventory tracking system accurately.
• Verifies items received against purchase orders and packing lists; documents discrepancies and damages.
• Coordinates with Purchasing to manage damages and DMR warehouse; completes required paperwork.
• Communicates with Cost Accounting, Scheduling, and other necessary support employees.
• Adjusts inventory to align with cycle counting results and reconciliation.
• Assists Accounts Payable with invoice reconciliation when necessary.
• Maintains organization of finished products.
• Participates in physical inventory processes and material cycle counting.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Maintains safety, housekeeping, and follows SOPs/JSAs.
