Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for our night shift to support productivity and scheduling for inbound and outbound loads. You will reconcile yard checks, enter container movements, and collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely processing of containers and ASN verifications.

The role requires basic warehouse experience, strong accuracy, and safety-conscious behavior.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with team via 2-way radio to update dock and yard locations daily.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers) safely to move products between locations.
• Enter empty, full, and recently unloaded containers into tracking systems daily.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, locate missing products, and replenish shortages accordingly.
• Meet with operations to discuss volume, priority unloads, and upcoming needs for containers 24/48/72 hours ahead.
• Reconcile daily yard checks and update arrivals/departures in scheduling systems.
