Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support the operations team in managing inbound and yard activities, ensuring accurate container tracking, scheduling, and workload balance across the mixing center.

The role uses IMS, ORACLE, and SharePoint to verify charges, create ASNs, and reconcile yard checks. You will work with the purchasing team to resolve variances, perform daily cycle counts, and operate forklifts safely.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Inventory and IMS systems.
• Safety-aware and able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with team members to update dock and yard locations and container/trailer information daily.
• Enter containers into tracking systems and reconcile movements.
• Perform daily cycle counts to verify quantities of tires, wheels, and accessories.
• Reconcile yard checks and update arrivals, departures, and pickups.
• Coordinate with operations and purchasing to resolve ASN variances.
• Verify container invoices and charges against IMS and SharePoint schedules.
