Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking an Inventory Coordinator at our Shafter, CA site to support inbound and yard operations. You will reconcile yard checks, use Oracle to generate ASNs, and coordinate with the operations team to optimize container flow and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with team members via 2-way radio to update dock and yard locations and container/trailer information daily.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers) safely to move products between locations.
• Enter empty, full, and recently unloaded containers into tracking systems daily.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and replenish shortages accordingly.
• Reconcile yard checks and update schedules for arrivals, departures and pickups.
• Perform daily cycle counts to verify quantities and resolve variances.
