Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for our Gainesville, FL location. You will monitor the accuracy and adequacy of inventories, compiling records of material, property, equipment, and supplies to keep the distribution flow smooth.

Responsibilities include counts, comparisons to records, reporting, shrinking control, and supporting multi-temperature warehouse operations with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong arithmetic and data-entry skills to verify stock counts.
• Ability to communicate information accurately to team members.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count and investigates discrepancies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standards.
