Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support our warehouse operations. You will monitor and maintain accuracy and adequacy of inventories, compile records of material, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the distribution process.

The role involves counting stock, reconciling discrepancies, preparing inventory reports, and maintaining shrink at or below company standards while working a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
