Job summary

Sonoco's Inspector Packer I in Forest City, NC is responsible for inspecting finished goods and packaging, ensuring quality before shipment. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will operate in a fast-paced production setting and maintain essential production data.

The role runs on the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with a starting rate of $20.34/hr plus $0.44 shift differential. Candidates should be reliable, able to stand long hours, and lift up to 50 lbs while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to detect visual and physical defects before packaging.
• Ability to maintain production data (scrap records, work order details).

Responsibilities

• Identify safety concerns and detect defects in finished products before packaging.
• Maintain production data (scrap cause records, work order detail).
