Job summary

Moore Company in Frederick, MD is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the inserting department on the 3rd shift. You will direct all aspects of production, ensure on-time delivery, quality, and safety, and optimize daily operations.

This role requires hands-on oversight of equipment, data collection, and staff coordination to meet production goals. Responsibilities include training employees, performing quality checks, troubleshooting machinery, recording performance metrics, and guiding the team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related production or supervisory experience.
• Experience operating inserting equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all production activities to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Perform quality control checks throughout the production process.
• Provide support to maximize team productivity and efficiency.
• Record and report production data and performance metrics.
• Ensure overall efficiency and productivity of the inserting department.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and operate machinery as needed.
• Train employees on equipment operation and production processes.
