Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for the Night shift at Geisinger Medical Center. The role offers a full-time schedule (36 hours/week) with a nightly rate and shift differentials for evenings and weekends.

Eligible candidates may receive up to a $24,000 hiring incentive and relocation assistance. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level

Qualifications

• RN background with ability to provide direct patient care.
• Experience coordinating patient care with staff and families.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities.
• Completes assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family.
• Provides plan of care with discharge planning and education.
• Delivers direct patient care including treatments and medications.
