Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences encouraged; must obtain PTCB within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care to the patient.
• Refill patient medication bins and update labeling.
• Deliver and exchange 24-hour cart fill to nursing units at scheduled times.
• Reorder medications and restock the picking station and other areas.
• Prepare IV medications using aseptic techniques and follow USP standards.
• Use PPE and closed system transfer devices for hazardous medications.
